A 2" double ball catch is a heavy-duty cabinet latch consisting of a spring-loaded main body with two tension-adjustable brass or steel balls, and a matching strike plate.
When the cabinet door closes, the strike plate pushes between the two ball bearings, gripping it tightly to keep the door securely shut. They are primarily used on wardrobe, pantry, and larger cabinet doors where a standard magnetic catch is too weak
